US-based BWH Hotels to expand into smaller Indian cities

BWH Hotels is looking to expand its network in India by adding more independent hotels in smaller towns. The firm, which currently operates 34 hotels in the country with 26 additional properties in the pipeline, aims to reach a total of 100 hotels by the fiscal year 2029-30.The company is undergoing a global brand overhaul, bringing three hotel groups - WorldHotels, Best Western Hotels & Resorts, and SureStay Hotels - under a single, unified umbrella to improve visibility across its luxury and budget portfolios. Currently, its Indian portfolio is split equally between franchise and managed hotels.
