AI research startup Redrob raises $10-M led by Korea Investment Partners
Multinational AI research startup Redrob which has a special focus on India and other developing markets, has raised USD 10 million in a Series A financing round, led by Korea Investment Partners, with participation from KB Investment, Kiwoom Investment, Korea Development Bank Capital, Daekyo Investment, and DS & Partners. This brings its total funds raised to USD 14 million, including a USD 4 million seed round in 2023.Redrob plans to use the fresh capital to refine its machine learning architecture to achieve a targeted 50-fold reduction in costs. The company also aims to develop language models specifically for India, covering all the 22 officially recognized languages, and deliver a comprehensive AI suite designed to support learning, career advancement, and workplace productivity.The company is also preparing to launch several major initiatives, including the rollout of free Redrob Large Language Model (LLM) access for all Indian universities in Q1 2026.
