Bumble Bee Flights raises Rs.300-Cr from UK investor to make air taxis

Bumble Bee Flights Pvt Ltd, a company that has designed and developed air mobility solutions for purposes such as air ambulance, air taxi, logistics, recreational use, and defence applications, has raised INR 300 crore (USD 37 million) from UK-based Sram & Mram Group. The Bengaluru-based startup, founded by serial entrepreneur Arjun Das in early 2022, will use the funds to set up an assembly plant in Odisha for manufacturing air taxis under the brand Bee Flights. The company plans to launch the first prototype by April 2023.
