Climate-education focused Sustainability Mafia attracts Rs.2-Cr CSR funding from Zerodha
Bengaluru-based The Sustainability Mafia (SusMafia), a non-profit organisation focused on climate education, early-stage incubation, and ecosystem building, has received INR 2 crore in corporate social responsibility (CSR) funding from Zerodha.SusMafia aims to use this funding to strengthen the climate-tech ecosystem. The proposed use of funds includes training over 300 'Climate Ninjas', supporting more than 20 early-stage climate startups, and organising regional and national ecosystem gatherings for stakeholders in the climate and sustainability sectors.SusMafia’s ‘Climate Ninja’ program claims to have trained over 400 climate professionals. Its early-stage incubation initiatives have also deployed INR 1 crore in grants to support emerging climate ventures.
