Cross-border fintech co Swadesh raises $2.25 M from Khosla Ventures, Y Combinator, 8VC
Swadesh, a cross-border fintech firm for Indian expats, has raised USD 2.25 million in pre- seed funding from US-based investors including Khosla Ventures, 8VC, Y Combinator, and Section32. The funding will be used to scale up customer acquisition and expand its product suite of NRI-focused financial products. Swadesh primarily caters to Indian students and expats headed to the US. Swadesh recently launched zero-balance US bank accounts that can be opened from India. Swadesh provides a virtual VISA debit card for online and contactless payments instantly.
