Bengaluru and San Jose, CA (USA)-based NetApp has acquired Santa Clara, CA (USA)-based DataPelago . Founded in 2022 by Rajan Goyal and Anand V. Iyer, DataPelago provides AI data infrastructure that enables the processing of data at the storage layer. The company's technology removes the requirement for transferring data to separate compute clusters and eliminates the need for duplicate data copies.The acquisition will help integrate GPU-accelerated data processing technology into the NetApp portfolio.
