Restaurant chain Banaraswala raises $2-M from Prax Impex

Delhi-based Banaraswala has raised USD 2 million in a seed funding round from Prax Impex.Founded in 2025 by Vibhanshu Mishra, Banaraswala serves traditional Banarasi food, including sweets, chaats and meals, incorporating elements such as kulhads and clay into its dining experience. The company operates three outlets in Delhi.The firm plans to use the new funds to expand its outlets, develop new menu offerings, and grow its franchise network across India. The company plans to set up 50 outlets by March 2027 across Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi-NCR and Tier II markets.
