Wealth-tech platform Syfe raises $27-M from Peter Thiel's Valar Ventures, others
Singapore- and NCR-based investment platform Syfe has raised USD 27 million in equity from existing investors including Peter Thiel’s Valar Ventures, London-based investment firm Unbound, and two UK-based family offices.Founded in 2019 by Dhruv Arora, a former senior executive at Blinkit, Syfe caters to the wealth needs of individuals by providing diversified proprietary portfolios, cash management solutions and brokerage services. While the startup is operational in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia, it has customers from over 60 countries and its technology centre is in India.The funds will be used to accelerate the firm’s engineering, product teams in India, roll out new products and expand into new markets.
