Rural lender SarvaGram to raise $40-M from Temasek, TVS Capital, existing investors: report

Mumbai-based lender SarvaGram Fincare Pvt. Ltd, which caters to credit requirements of rural households, is raising around USD 40 million from new investors Temasek and TVS Capital, besides existing investors. The deal reportedly values Sarvagram at USD 100 million. SarvaGram, which started operations in 2019, offers five products including business, farm, personal, home and gold loans. Its assets under management stood at INR 171 crore as on 31 March 2022 as compared to INR 39 crore at the end of the previous fiscal year
