Adtech startup Vertoz acquires minority stake in marketing automation enabler Cheerio
Mumbai and New York-based digital marketing and advertising startup Vertoz has acquired a 1.82% stake in Bangalore-based marketing automation startup Cheerio. As part of the deal, Vertoz will have access to Cheerio's marketing automation technologies. Vertoz aims to use the synergies between the two companies and expand its position in the marketing & advertising technology industry. Founded in 2012 by Ashish Shah and Hiren Shah, Vertoz aims at delivering data driven targeted campaigns to enable businesses generate the best outcomes for digital marketers and companies. Cheerio helps e-commerce companies increase repeat revenue by enabling them to re-market to their customers across e-mail, sms and WhatsApp using a no-code marketing automation software.
