Advent weighs $1-B investment in Yes Bank

Private equity group Advent International is evaluating an INR 7,500 crore (USD 1 billion) investment in Yes Bank to further capitalise its balance sheet as the private lender, now under the stewardship of State Bank of India (SBI), tries to stabilise operations. Yes Bank faced a run on deposits in early 2020, after which an SBI-led consortium took over in March of that year.
