Agri-commerce startup WayCool Foods raises $11.6 M from European fund Huruma

Chennai-based agri-commerce startup WayCool Foods has raised USD 11.6 million from Europe's impact investing fund, Huruma, managed by GAWA Capital, as part of its Series D round. The company focuses on food development and distribution and leverages innovative technology to scale and operate a complex supply chain “from soil to sale”. The new investment will be used to accelerate and leverage deep tech and automation.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: Between Mar-17 and Nov-21 WayCool raised $73.2 M from Lightbox, Lightrock India, InnoVen Capital, FMO, OPIC, Caspian Advisors, IFMR Trust, and others.
