Agri-insurtech co IBISA raises seed funding from Ankur Capital
Agri-insurtech company IBISA has raised a seed round of funding from Ankur Capital. Luxembourg-headquarered IBISA, with an office in Bengaluru, aims to empower the agri value chain players with weather protection insurance solutions. IBISA started its operations in India with DHAN Foundation to provide parametric insurance against drought coverage in Tamil Nadu. It is scaling with operations in Odisha, Karnataka, and Telangana for coverage against excess rainfall, excess wind speed and drought.
