Agri-tech startup Falca raises $3-M led by IP Ventures
Bengaluru-based agri-tech platform Falca has raised over USD 3 million in pre-series A round led by Inflection Point Ventures, in a combination of debt and equity. The round also saw participation from LetsVenture, and Mumbai Angels and high network individuals (HNIs). The funds will be used in expanding the services to new geographies, acquiring talent for growth, and focusing on building tech infrastructure. The platform provides quality inputs to small & marginal farmers to avail machinery on rent, market linkages, storage solutions, advisory & technologies for enhancing farm productivity. It also offers free analytical support such as weather conditions, supply-demand gaps, market prices, and suitable harvest times. Agricultural companies can also list their products/commodities through the platform.
