Agritech startup AgNext raises $21-M from Alpha Wave, Omnivore, Kalaari Capital
Mohali, Punjab-based agritech startup AgNext Technologies has raised USD 21 million in a Series A round led by Alpha Wave Incubation fund, which is backed by DisruptAD and managed by Falcon Edge. Existing investors Omnivore and Kalaari Capital also participated in this round. AgNext, which will use the funds for growth and expansion, has also delivered exit to a-IDEA NAARM, an agribusiness incubator managed by the National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM). Set up in 2016, the startup provides deep-tech enabled solutions for food quality assessment, monitoring, and management.
