Agrochem player Cropnosys raises Rs.375-Cr from Kotak Strategic Situations Fund

Kotak Alternate Asset Managers, via Kotak Strategic Situations India Fund II, has invested INR 375 crore in Bengaluru-headquartered agrochemicals player Cropnosys (India) Pvt Ltd . Cropnosys manufactures and supplies technical grade active ingredients, intermediates and formulations for both export and domestic agrochemical markets. It plans to use the new funds to scale up its manufacturing capabilities and bolster its products suite. Set up in 2006, Cropnosys has manufacturing units in Vapi in Gujarat and in Bengaluru. The company caters to markets across continents including Europe, North America, South America, Middle East and Africa.
