Airtel to acquire 25% stake in VC-backed Lavelle Networks
New Delhi-based, publicly listed telecom operator Bharti Airtel is to acquire an around 25% equity stake in Bengaluru-based technology startup Lavelle Networks. The startup, founded in 2015, specialises in software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) solutions, and serves a range of industry segments. Post deal, Airtel will offer software defined connectivity solutions from Lavelle Networks and co-create a host of innovations as part of its NaaS (network as a service) platform.
