Ananta Capital acquires mattress maker Springwel
Ananta Capital, a private equity firm supported by the Taparia family (the former promoters of pharmaceuticals firm Famy Care), has purchased a majority stake in Springwel Mattresses Pvt. Ltd., a manufacturer of mattresses and sleep products. Founded in 1996, Springwel manufactures and sells mattresses, home furnishings, and foam for industrial use. It manages a pan-India network of more than 1,000 dealers and distributors in addition to operating over 75 exclusive brand shops. It expects to report INR 300 crore in revenue for FY23.
