Ansal Housing raises Rs.100-Cr from govt's SWAMIH fund for Gurugram project
Mumbai-based, publicly-listed Ansal Housing has raised around INR 100 crore for its Ansal Highland Park project in Sector 104, Gurugram, from the government-backed Special Window for Affordable and Mid Income Housing (SWAMIH) Investment Fund. The project, which had been in limbo since 2012 due to a liquidity crunch, has reached financial closure with the fundraise. The fresh funds will be used to complete the project that caters to over 750 home buyers. Ansal has so far sold around 90% of the project. Real estate consultancy firm Shearwater Ventures was advisor to the deal.
