Anti-fraud s'ware firm TrustCheckr acquired by Truecaller
Sweden-based, publicly listed Truecaller has acquired Bengaluru-based Unoideo Technologies Pvt Ltd. The target company owns the TrustCheckr SaaS platform that helps businesses verify customer information and detect risk of fraud based on phone numbers and digital signals. TrustCheckr is used primarily by banks, fintech companies, and other financial institutions. With seven full-time employees, it counts IIFL Finance and Piramal Capital and Housing Finance among its existing customers. The acquisition will strengthen Truecaller's newly launched Risk Intelligence-services for enterprises.
