AR-based social media company Flam raises $3.5 M from Silicon Valley Quad, Inventus, others
Bengaluru-based social networking startup Flam has raised USD 3.5 million in seed funding from Silicon Valley Quad, Inventus Capital Partners, 9Unicorns, Kwaish Ventures and a few angel investors. Flam is an AR-based social media networking platform aimed at a global audience. The company will use the seed capital to fuel growth and user engagement on its new social media features, build a scalable augmented reality (AR) engine, and expand to international markets. The round will also help build a team with expertise in computer vision, graphics engineering, GPS mapping, social media product development, including growth managers and 3D designers.
