Aroa Ventures to raise $50-M VC fund
Aroa Venture Partners , promoted by OYO founder Ritesh Agarwal and Gaurav Gulati (Co-founder and Managing Partner), has launched a new fund with a target corpus of INR 400 crore (about USD 50 million).Aroa Opportunities Fund, which was registered as a category II alternative investment fund (AIF) in October 2022, has received in-principle commitments of over INR 400 crore so far.The fund plans to invest between INR 4 crore to INR 40 crore across 20-25 startups in their Seed to Series C rounds. It will act as lead investor in the Seed to Series A rounds and make co-investments in Series B and C ones.
