Arpwood-led consortium acquires majority stake in Sterling Hospitals
A consortium of investors led by private equity firm Arpwood Partners has acquired a majority stake in Sterling Addlife India Pvt Ltd, which operates a chain of multi-specialty hospitals in Gujarat. Founded in 2001, the multispecialty hospital chain has presence in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot and Gandhidham, operating a network of 6 NABH accredited hospitals with 1,000+ operating beds. Post-acquisition, Sterling Hospitals' Founder Girishbhai Patel will retain a minority stake and mentor the new management. The consortium will invest in clinical talent, infrastructure upgrade and patient service experience.
