Artha raises Rs.100-Cr for Rs.450-Cr opportunities fund
The Artha India Ventures group is looking to close a INR 450 crore opportunities fund to back winners from its existing portfolio. The new vehicle, Artha Select Fund (ASF), has secured commitments of more than INR 100 crore from existing limited partners, or sponsors, of Artha Venture Fund (AVF). It has a INR 120 crore green shoe option Led by Anirudh Damani, the fund will invest in the growth rounds of companies backed by AVF and Artha India Ventures. AVF has provided returns of 3.61x on invested capital and over 120% internal rate of return (IRR).
