Economic Times

Gurugram-headquartered fresh fruits and vegetables supply chain startup Sorted, founded by former Milkbasket co-founder Anant Goel, has raised USD 5 million as a part of its ongoing seed funding round. Venture capital firms Beenext, White Venture Capital, NB Ventures and Titan Capital (promoted by Snapdeal co-founders Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal) participated. Sorted allows mom and pop stores to place orders for fresh produce of fruits and vegetables through its app, and have it delivered the next morning straight from farmers. The platform is currently operational in Gurugram and plans to scale to other parts of the national capital region (NCR) in the coming months.
