B2B meat marketplace Captain Fresh raises $50-M from Prosus Ventures, others

Bengaluru-based Captain Fresh, a B2B seafood and meat marketplace, has raised USD 50 million in a round led by existing investors Prosus Ventures and Tiger Global. Accel India, Matrix Partners India, Ankur Capital and Incubate Fund also participated in the round. This is the startup's second fundraise in three months. Its valuation has more than doubled to USD 500 million following the latest round. A strategic investor is expected to chip in an additional USD 10 million.
