Baby diapers maker Nobel Hygiene raises Rs.132-Cr from Sixth Sense Ventures

Mumbai-based Nobel Hygiene Pvt Ltd has raised INR 132 crore from existing investor Sixth Sense Ventures to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and for growth. This takes the total investment made by Sixth Sense Ventures (via SSIO-III ) in the company to INR 200 crore. Established in 2000, the company makes baby diapers under brand Teddyy and Snuggy and sanitary pads under the brand Rio. In June 2021, the firm had attracted INR 500 crore in a round led by Quadria Capital. As part of that deal, Sixth Sense Ventures had bought shares in a secondary transaction from a few angel investors. The company's previous PE investors CLSA Capital Partners, Access India fund and its co-investors had exited as part of the investment.
