Bangalore-based battery platform The Energy Company has raised pre-seed funding from LetsVenture, Sia Angels, and We Founder Circle (WFC) and other angel investors. Having tested its flagship product Flexi with fleet operators and EV aggregators in Bengaluru and Delhi, the company will use the funds to accelerate growth, acquire more customers, expand the team, and certify the product with the new Automotive Industry Standards (AIS). Founded in 2021, The Energy Company claims to provide faster, cheaper, and reliable batteries to EV users. Its SaaS platform ensures superior control over batteries and makes sure they are ready to be deployed in second-life applications.
