Bellatrix Aerospace raises $8-M from BASF Venture Capital, Inflexor Ventures, others
Bengaluru-headquartered Bellatrix Aerospace is to raise USD 8 million in a Series A round led by BASF Venture Capital GmbH, the corporate venture company of BASF SE, and Inflexor Ventures. The round also saw participation from StartupXseed, Pavestone Capital, Mankind Pharma Family Office, Survam Partners, Karsemven Fund, and other family offices and angel investors. The company aims to use the funds to develop and test its four thruster modules and go to market by the end of the year. The funds will also be used towards the company's evolution into a full-fledged space transportation technology company with its Orbital Transfer Vehicle with capabilities to deploy customer satellites to their orbits.
