Beverages chain Chai Waale raises Rs.5-Cr from actor Nayanthara, other angel investors
Chennai-based beverages chain Chai Waale has raised INR 5 crore from actor Nayanthara and producer Vignesh Shivan. Other angels that participated in the round include Sunil Sethia, SunilKumar Singhvi, Manish Mardia and angel network UNI-M Network. The funds will be used towards expansion of physical stores and back-end systems, marketing and the managerial team. The brand has also expanded its menu.
