Bharat Innovation Fund invests in US-based A5G Networks
Nashua, NH (USA)-based 5G networks focused telecom startup A5G Networks has raised an investment from deep tech focused VC firm Bharat Innovation Fund. Som Pal Choudhury, Partner at Bharat Innovation Fund, will join the board of A5G Networks. A5G Networks aims to enable and catalyze the transition to distributed and autonomous mobile network of networks for 5G and beyond. Its unique IP is claimed to help realize significant savings in capital and operating expenditures, reduces energy requirements, improves quality of user experience, and catalyze adoption of new business models. A5G Networks will enable deployment of enterprise private networks, connected car networks, new public mobile networks and play a role in smart city projects. A5G Networks made a private network pilot announcement with Vodafone Idea Ltd. (VIL) in Feb 2022.
