BNPL player ShopSe raises $6.1 M from Beenext, Chiratae Ventures, White Venture Capital

Mumbai-based ‘Buy-now-pay-later' (BNPL) startup ShopSe has raised USD 6.1 million as a part of its Series A funding from Beenext, Chiratae Ventures and White Venture Capital. ShopSe would use the fresh capital to take its service to 150,000 more retailers and grow lender partnerships. The startup will also invest in building its team and further enhance platform capabilities. Started in 2020, ShopSe's pay-later marketplace brings lenders and retailers together to offer EMI solutions for customers in online and offline spaces. It offers credit solutions at the purchase point without any documentation. The startup claims to have more than 120 brands as partners with a presence at more than 35,000 retailers across India. Some of its partners include HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, Axis Bank and IIFL.
