Brick manufacturing startup Zerund raises capital from NVCL
Guwahati-based innovative brick manufacturing start-up Zerund has raised a seed round from NEDFi Venture Capital Ltd. (NVCL). The start-up has raised a total of INR 4 crore in total including the current round. Zerund is providing eco-friendly, cost-effective, crack/earthquake resistant, lightweight bricks made from waste plastic and other waste materials as ingredients. The brand currently operates out of its manufacturing facility in Pathsala, Assam. It plans to utilise part of the investment to set up a new facility that will have 5 times more capacity than the current one.
