Brookfield sells Data Infra shares worth INR 6,647-Cr
Brookfield, via BIF IV Jarvis India Pte Ltd, has sold 433,000,000 equity shares at INR 153.50 per share of publicly listed InvIT Data Infrastructure Trust (formerly known as Tower Infrastructure Trust) on February 14, 2024 through a bulk deal on BSE. The sale aggregates to INR 6,646.55 crore.
In Jul 2019, Brookfield had originally committed to invest INR 25,215 crore in Tower Infrastructure Trust, an indirect telecom tower owning subsidiary of Reliance Industries.
