Byju's yet to receive over $250-M in committed funds from PE-VC investors: report

Two of the investors in Bangalore-based edtech unicorn Byju's USD 800 million fund raise - Sumeru Ventures and Oxshott Ventures - haven't transferred about USD 250 million of the committed amount. The fundraising (which was committed in Oct-21, as per regulatory filings) would have valued Byju's at USD 22 Billion. Founder Byju Raveendran has completed investong about USD 400 million as part of the round. The company expects the two investors to make the transfers by August.
