Capinity Partners launches $30-M VC fund
Jitendra Nagpal, the former chief financial officer (CFO) of quick commerce startup Zepto, has launched a venture capital firm, Capinity Partners, which is targeting a first close of its USD 30 million first fund by the end of the year. The first fund will focus on investing in startups up to pre-Series A round, with a special focus on digital-first firms. Nagpal is joined by two BFSI industry executives: Tarun Bhargava and Vikas Somani. Capinity is also planning a second fund - targeting USD 100-200 million - focused on clean tech and climate startups.
