Hyderabad-based healthtech startup Monitra Health has raised USD 1.5 million in a pre-Series A round led by Equanimity Ventures and Kotak Alternate Asset Managers. The proceeds will be used to ramp up its remote cardiac monitoring platform, upBeat, designed for both domestic and global markets. Operating as a B2B2C model led by Ravi Bhogu, Monitra Health collaborates with healthcare professionals and medical device channel partners. Monitra Health's flagship product upBeat is a cardiac monitoring mechanism aiding in the diagnosis of unexplained fainting, dizziness, and palpitations. The firm claims to hold patents in India and Australia, with global patents pending in the US, the EU, and Canada.
