Career life cycle mgmt co Genleap raises Rs.27-Cr in pre-Series A

Gurugram-headquartered. DNA-based career life cycle management platform Genleap has concluded its pre-Series A funding of INR 27 crore (USD 3.3 million). The investors included Mike Holland (former CEO, Embassy REIT), Sanjay Dutt (CEO, Tata Realty and Infrastructure), Neeraj Bansal (COO – India Global, KMPG), Karthikeyan Balasubramanian, Deepak Kaul and Manish Dhawan (Olam Food International), and new investors such as Vikaash Khdloya, Sunil Bajaj, Yoguen Oukabay, Mandeep Mehta (Group CFO with Policy Bazaar) in their personal capacities. The company will launch its Regulation A Plus IPO in the US. Further, it's extending its product range and is providing DNA-led solutions for personal career growth and development, health & wellness, relationship compatibility, disease susceptibility and more. The funds from this round and IPO would be used to further expand globally into the US, middle east, and European markets. In addition, the proceeds from the IPO would also enable Genleap to build labs in multiple geographies to address the genetic testing market, including personality and careers, relationships, nutrition, sports and fitness, mental well-being, disease susceptibility, lifestyle, etc.

From the Venture Intelligence Angel Investments Database: In Nov 21, Genleap raised INR 60 Cr from Vivek Vaidya, Stono River Partners LLC managing member Kevin Donlon, Embassy REIT CEO Mike Holland, Restech Global CEO Ayush Singh, Mas Infratech director Mohit Juneja, Dipon Group CEO Rashed Mahmood.
