CDQP, Temasek units form Rs.15,400-Cr investment platform for office properties in India

Montreal, Canada-based global real estate firm Ivanhoé Cambridge (a part of pension fund CDPQ) and Mapletree, a Singapore-headquartered property development, investment capital and property management company (promoted by Temasek), have formed a partnership to develop, own and operate technology-sector-focused workplaces in India. The platform will have an investment capacity of about INR 15,403 crore (CAD 2.5 Billion). The partners have already identified properties and projects to meet the investment target. The venture will focus on developing Grade A office assets in key economic hubs in India, which are benefiting from technology-led innovation anchored by global capability centres, as well as large domestic and international technology corporations.
