ChrysCapital to raise $300-M continuity fund to retain stake in NSE

ChrysCapital is looking to raise USD 300 million for a new fund that will allow the firm to hold on to its minority stake in the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The private equity firm is working with UBS for raising a “continuation fund” that will give it more time and capital to hold its investment in NSE. Depending on how many investors opt in, ChrysCapital is expected to collect between USD 250 million and USD 300 million for the fund.ChrysCapital had bought a 5% stake in NSE in 2016. The firm wants to retain its investment until the bourse goes public.
