Cleantech firm Pi Green Innovations raises $4.5 M from Opus Consulting, others
Pune-based cleantech company Pi Green Innovations has raised over USD 4.5 million in Series A funding led by the investment fund of Opus Consulting (which contributed USD 4.3 million) with participation from other investors. It had earlier raised USD 300,000 in seed funding from Harshal Morde, Director, Morde Foods. The company will use the funds to develop a R&D centre for product development and testing, product certification, and in developing new solutions to counter various sources of emissions. It will also invest in increasing its manufacturing capabilities, and in building a pan-India sales network. The company is also exploring opportunities in international markets.
