Cloud kitchen Box8 raises $40-M from Tiger Global, rebrands as 'EatClub Brands'
Mumbai-based cloud kitchen startup Box8, which operates brands like Mojo Pizza, has raised USD 40 million from Tiger Global, and rebranded itself as EatClub Brands. It will use the funds to scale geographically to 500+ kitchens in 15 cities, and onboard talent.
Founded in 2012, Box8 is known for its all-in-one meals and "desi" boxes. The company's eight brands operate out of more than 150 cloud kitchens. The firm recently added Globo Ice Cream and Zaza Biryani to its portfolio.
