Cloud kitchen Curefoods acquires Ammi's Biryani, 6 other D2C food brands
Bengaluru-based cloud kitchen company Curefoods has acquired seven new D2C food brands across the country including PE-backed biryani brand Ammi's Biryani. The other brands include subscription-based home-cooked meals startup Masala Box, Indian breakfast startup Paratha Box, online confectionery chain CakeZone, pizza brands Olio and Crusto's, and inline chaat brand Chaat Street. Curefoods also has exclusive franchise rights of pizza cloud kitchen YumLane, Indian and Mughlai food cloud kitchen Aligarh House, and biryani cloud kitchen Sharief Bhai.
Between Jun-12 and Jan-15, Bengaluru-based Ammi's Biryani had raised over $13-M from Elevation Capital. In Aug-21, Curefoods had raised $13-M from Nordstar, Iron Pillar and others.
