Cloud kitchen startup Curefoods raises $43-M led by Winter Capital

Bengaluru-based cloud kitchen startup Curefoods has raised about USD 43 million (INR 331 crore) in a funding round led by Winter Capital, which contributed about USD 14.7 million. Another new investor Three State Capital pitched in with a USD 5.8 million investment. Existing investors Chiratae Ventures infused about USD 1.6 million, while Accel India invested USD 3.9 million and Iron Pillar, USD 10 million. Curefoods has also raised around USD 500,000 in debt from venture debt firm Alteria Capital. It plans to use the fresh capital to expand into new geographies and fund new acquisitions. The startup is focussed on creating a multi-brand play. Curefoods is also acquiring, incubating and licensing other food brands. It has 20 brands in its portfolio, of which 15 have been fully acquired. With this round, the company has so far raised over USD 120 million in equity and venture debt.
