Collections automation enabler DPDzero raises Rs.3.9 Cr led by Better Capital

Bangalore-based fintech startup DPDzero has raised INR 3.9 crore in a pre-seed funding led by Better Capital along with angels such as Kunal Shah, founder, Cred; Ramanathan RV, co-founder, Hyperface; Nishchay AG, co-founder & CEO, Jar; Vijay Rajagopalan, head of sales, Amazon Pay (Offline); Ahishek Kothari, co-founder, FlexiLoans.com; and Untitled Ventures. The fresh funds will be used to market the firm's technology to lenders, and help them limit their focus to acquiring new borrowers. Founded in March this year by Ananth Shroff and Ranjith B R, DPDzero is building a fintech borrower data platform.The firm claims to have witnessed strong interest from fintech lenders and NBFCs and has partnered with companies such as  OTO capital, BharatX, OkCredit, ZeroPay, RupeeLend, Saija MicroFinance, Kanakadurga Finance, and Padmasai Finance.
