College admissions enabler CollegeDekho raises $9-M from Winter Capital
Gurugram-based college admissions and higher education services platform CollegeDekho has raised INR 73.3 crore (about USD 9 million) from existing investor Winter Capital (via Janeville Ltd). CollegeDekho would allot 8,843 Series B1 preference shares to Janeville at an issue price of INR 82,927.98 per share. Founded by Ruchir Arora, CollegeDekho connects prospective students with colleges using an AI-based conversation bot. CollegeDekho is engaged in college and university admission, student counselling, and competitive exams preparation. CollegeDekho has bought three startups - IELTSMaterial, Getmyuni, and PrepByte - and will use the fresh funds for further acquisitions and consolidation.
