Community mgmt enabler Threado raises $3.1 M led by Vertex
Bengaluru-based community management startup Threado has raised USD 3.1 million (INR 24.76 crore) in a funding round led by Vertex. Gemba Capital, Speciale Invest, and PointOne Capital also participated in the round. Angel investors such as Deepinder Goyal (CEO of Zomato), Pankaj Chaddah (co-founder of Mindhouse and Zomato), Krish Subramanian and Rajaraman Santhanam (co-founders of Chargebee) also invested in the startup. Threado provides a dashboard for businesses and creators to manage their online communities on Slack, Discord, Discourse, Twitter, or GitHub. The company plans to use the funds to strengthen its team and accelerate traction in North America. Over the next 12 months, Threado plans to increase its customer base to 3,000 community-led companies from its current 200.
