Consumer durables marketplace for rural India Direct2U raises Rs.1.8 Cr led by IP Ventures

Navi Mumbai-headquartered e-commerce firm Direct2U has raised INR 1.8 crore in a seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The funds will be used for technology development, hiring, marketing and expansion. Operating in the consumer durables space, Direct2U brings together lead generation, order fulfilment, cash (online transfer), and credit purchase options, along with doorstep delivery for the demand-rich, underpenetrated rural Indian consumers in the rural pockets. It operates on a business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C) model. With partnerships with major brands like Samsung, Vivo, and Prestige, Direct2U offers a range of products to rural customers in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, and Odisha.
