Consumer tech co Up raises $800-K from Tim Draper, others
Bengaluru-based consumer technology startup Up (formerly React Labs), has raised USD 800,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Tim Draper of Draper Associates. Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs of India (SAE India), Tarun Mehta & Swapnil Jain (co-founders of Ather Energy), and Gaurav Munjal & Roman Saini (co-founders of Unacademy) also participated in the funding round. Up builds home appliances designed in Bengaluru and made in India. The startup was shortlisted for Qualcomm's 2022-23 accelerator program through the Qualcomm Design in India Challenge.
