Contract manufacturer Aequs raises $27.5 M led by Amicus Capital
Belagavi, Karnataka-based contract manufacturing company Aequs has attracted USD 27.5 million (about INR 225.50 crore) from Amicus Capital and existing investors. Ambit advised Aequs on the deal. Aequs has integrated manufacturing operations across three clusters in Karnataka: Belagavi Aerospace Cluster (BAC), Koppal Toys Cluster (KTC), and Hubballi Durable Goods Cluster (HDC). The company also operates aerospace manufacturing facilities in the US and in France, and employs about 4000 people worldwide. Aequs will deploy the fresh capital to ramp up its manufacturing capabilities to cater to global and domestic original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) across three verticals: toys, aerospace, and consumer goods.
